Madam Fatmata Nipple Sow Momoh has been appointed as Chief Adviser to the Women's Wing of Fullah Tribal chieftaincy Administration (FTA).
Her appointment was based on several key qualities: preaching peace among women, bringing women together, her compassion for supporting women, her strong commitment to women's empowerment, and her longstanding dedication to community development.
Over the years, despite her status as the spouse of a former Head of State, Madam Sow Momoh has remained actively engaged in promoting national cohesion and unity.
She has graciously accepted the appointment and has pledged to serve with diligence, integrity, and commitment to the advancement of women within the community.
MOMOH’S WIFE BACKS SON’S BID FOR APC DIASPORA 6th REGION SECRETARY GENERAL
In both domestic and international politics, it is rare for the child of a former or current president to seek an elected executive position within their own political party. Historically, the children of heads of state are typically appointed to ministerial, parastatal, or ambassadorial roles based on their parents' status.Â
However, the APC Diaspora 6th Region is witnessing a different path. Mrs Fatmata Momoh, the dedicated, honest, and selfless wife of late former President Joseph Saidu Momoh (of blessed memory)  is throwing her full support behind her son’s bid for the position of Secretary General for the Diaspora 6th Region (D6R).
The fact that Joseph Saidu Momoh Jnr (JS Momoh) is contesting an elected position demonstrates that both he and his mother believe strongly in grassroots DEMOCRACY. Rather than lobbying for a hand picked ministerial appointment should the APC return to power, he has chosen to earn his mandate through the will of the eligible diaspora districts delegates.
Mrs Fatmata deserves immense credit for blessing her son’s democratic aspirations. On behalf of his mother, and in honour  of all parents who support their children in seeking positions of trust, I respectfully appeal to all eligible delegates to cast their vote for JS Momoh Jnr as your next D6R Secretary General.
As we move forward, let us remember the legacy of the late President Momoh and reward his son’s commitment at the ballot box. JS Momoh Jnr is a trailblazing icon who is administratively capable, highly skilled, and possesses the competence required for this office.
We express our sincere gratitude to Madam Fatmata for her recent endorsement. This serves as a shinning example of how high profile figures should engage with internal party politics by encouraging the next generation to be groomed for leadership through service and merit.Â
At its heart, politics is about staying connected to the grassroots. While maintaining full respect to the other contestants, I believe JS Momoh Jnr is the right choice for Secretary General. After consulting with fellow comrades, I proudly ENDORSE JS Momoh Jnr.

It was a real pleasure to attend the Six Tribes Unity Festival yesterday! The wives of two former Presidents of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Madam Fatmata Sow Momoh and Madam Isata J Kabba, organized a spectacular display of the cultural heritage and the connections between the Fullah, Mandingo, Soso, Yalunka, Kuranko and Serakuleh tribes in Sierra Leone.Â
I was warmly received and upon my arrival I was honored with the presentation of a calabash by Soso participants led by Chairman Mohamed Suma!Â
Guests and participants came to the event from all over Sierra Leone, including the APC Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Alhaji Osman Yansaneh who is the Chairman of the Sosoya Organisation.Â
Congratulations to the organisers and to all the participants for a fantastic event that truly demonstrated unity in diversity.Â

This honour reflects her long-standing commitment to empowering women, supporting community development and promoting unity within the APC family. During the visit, the executives expressed their deep appreciation for her guidance, generosity and leadership. Madam Fatmata Sow Momoh warmly accepted the role, pledging to continue standing by the women of OFU APC and to champion their voices wherever she can.
